How to Cook Afang Soup

Our stews and soups can also be surf and turf style. It consists mostly of seafood. In this recipe for, I also use shelled clams and small shelled apple snails. But you can also use smoked dried fish, periwinkles, fresh or dried shrimp, shrimp, oysters, or any other seafood you enjoy.

Afang Soup Recipe & Cooking Directions

4 pounds (about 1.4 kg) of goat meat, cut into large bite-sized cubes. 1 cup cooked apple snails. Add palm oil, and crayfish and stir well together. Also, add a seasoning cube, ground black pepper, snails, and salt to taste, and cook for 6-7 minutes. Then add the water leaves and simmer for 7 minutes, stirring constantly.

Stir everything together, cover the pot, and allow for another 6 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes. And we have a delicious afang soup.
