Put the poha in a strainer and clean it well with water. Be careful not to soak the poha in water for too long. So leave it in a strainer. Then add oil to a pan. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion, and whole red chilies. When the potatoes turn light golden brown, add turmeric. Fry the potatoes on low flame. Make sure that the potatoes are cooked well. Now increase the flame to high. Add salt and poha to it and mix well. Fry lightly. Cover and simmer for 4 minutes or till the poha is cooked well. Now add roasted peanuts, 3 tablespoons of coriander, and one lemon. Mix it all well.

2 2 cups poha (thick).
3 2 teaspoons of sugar.
4 3 tablespoons of oil.
5 2 tablespoons of peanuts.
6 1 teaspoon mustard.
7 1 teaspoon cumin.
8 A pinch of asafoetida.
9 Some curry leaves.
10 3 chillies (finely chopped).
11 2 inches ginger (finely chopped).
12 1 onion (finely chopped).
13 1 teaspoon turmeric.
14 1 teaspoon of salt.
15 3 tablespoons coriander (finely chopped).
16 1 lemon.
