Bluefin Tuna Recipes

Bluefin Tuna Composition
Lightly baste both sides of the tuna steaks in olive oil. Sprinkle all sides with sea salt and ground black pepper. To cook, turn the temperature to a high flame and preheat, cover for 15 to 20 minutes. Grill the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove the tuna from the grill and set aside to cool slightly. Season the tuna steak with salt and pepper.
Heat a large, heavy skillet (preferably cast iron) on high. Then add 3 tbsp oil to it; When it starts to shimmer, add the tuna steak. Sear for 1 minute, then flip and cook for another 25 seconds. Then add 3 tablespoons of butter, melt, and cook for another 2 minutes. We love seared tuna very well, use a sharp knife to cut the tuna steak into wedges, serve with a drizzle of olive oil, and enjoy.
