If you’ve never eaten elk, get ready for a tasty treat. This is one of my favorite elk tenderloin recipes that combines delicious flavor with tender and juicy meat. Cooking elk tenderloin is a similar dish to cooking steak or venison tenderloin. Because it is much smaller than a backstrap, the tenderloin can be cooked well on the stovetop. Perfect if you live in a hot climate and have no interest in heating your home with an oven. The deep flavor of this beef melts in your mouth.

The tenderloin is as valuable a cut of meat as any animal. Elk tenderloin is the king of all elk steaks. This particular cut of meat doesn’t need much to shine. The savory and rich flavor of butter infused with garlic and thyme complements the earthy flavors of well-cooked elk meat. Each bite has the perfect balance of flavors without losing sight of the tenderloin’s natural flavor.

Elk Tenderloin Composition

This elk tenderloin recipe uses a whole elk tenderloin cut into pieces. You can also make tenderloin from venison, moose, venison, etc., or other thick steaks.
