Breakfast Shot Recipe

Breakfast Shot (also called Irish Pancake Breakfast by some) To make this recipe, add Irish whiskey and butterscotch schnapps to one glass and orange juice to another. In Irish breakfast recipes, orange juice is served separately as a chaser, and consumed immediately after breakfast. When I decide to make a brunch shot to serve at a breakfast or brunch party, I’m torn between two choices. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to make a French toast-inspired shot or a coffee-inspired shot.

They are two classic breakfast items in my opinion. Consisting of Irish whiskey, butterscotch schnapps, and syrup, this cocktail is again garnished with bacon and then served with a separate shot of OJ. As its name suggests, a shot is not a traditional Irish breakfast item. This is probably its nickname because Jameson Irish Whiskey usually chooses the preferred name for the whiskey. Which is made with a cocktail and orange juice.

Shake well for 2 minutes or until chilled and pour into a shot glass.

Then add orange juice to another shot glass. Enjoy with a crispy bacon slice. Since this recipe is best served chilled, chill it in the freezer for at least 15 minutes beforehand. To serve as a cocktail drink instead of a shot, mix all liquid ingredients in a shaker. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Then add orange juice to top it off. To add extra sweetness, swap out the bacon for candied bacon, which you can easily make by adding brown sugar in the oven or air fryer. You can pour all these ingredients directly into the shot, without using a cocktail shaker. However, we prefer the flavors to be mixed well and then chilled in a shaker.
