Easy Smoked Queso Composition

It can also be Monterey Jack cheese, Cheddar cheese, Pepper Jack, Gouda cheese, etc. You can also substitute cans of rutile for tomatoes and green chilies if you want to come up with something more fun.
Fresh or canned jalapeƱo chilies or freshly chopped chilies can also be added. This recipe is perfect for fuzzies with freshly roasted hatch chiles during the hatch chile season. Mix in a can of cream of mushroom soup! Try replacing your wooden knives. Hickorywood Yamsquite is the strongest and most aromatic wood that can really go with hot cheese dips.
If you have a longer offset smoker or pellet grill, you may want to place the pan closer to the smoke. No need to make it obvious that it’s getting enough heat to melt and it will turn into delicious goodness. The barbecue smoker was the prototype for this recipe, and although it can be used on a variety of outdoor cooking tools, we think this is the best practice. Preheat your smoker to 350 degrees. If your smoker is already dry, it can be cooked to any temperature, but depending on the temperature you may need more (or less) time. Place the smoker on the smoker, stirring every 10 minutes until the dip is well melted. It may take around 50 minutes to 1 hour. If necessary, shake it well and dilute it with water. Serve with your favorite dip and enjoy.
